Meet Matt
Put an educator on the school board

“I've been the teacher, the counselor, and the administrator. I know what our schools actually need.”
For nearly three decades, Matt Geiger has dedicated his life to education — as a teacher in front of a classroom, as a school counselor sitting with students and families through their hardest days, and as an administrator responsible for the safety and progress of an entire campus.
That career shaped a simple conviction: the decisions made at the board table land in real classrooms. Staffing formulas become a substitute teacher for a year. Boundary maps become a fifth grader on a bus for an hour. Budget lines become whether a career program has enough seats for the students who want them.
Matt is running as a non-partisan candidate because school board work is not supposed to be political theater. Parents are not a constituency to be managed — they are partners. Teachers do not need another mandate — they need support, order in their classrooms, and a district that keeps its promises.
Pasco County has earned an “A” rating, and that is worth celebrating. But growth is relentless here, and an “A” is not a finish line. Matt is asking for your vote to protect that progress and build on it with real-world experience and common-sense leadership.
